As of now, many users have voiced their concern that they are getting a black triangle in the YouTube video thumbnail. This appears at the bottom right and tends to cover the video duration/runtime. The culprit behind this issue is the latest buggy update released by YouTube. So to rectify it, you will have to downgrade it to the earlier stable build. Here’s how it could be done: That’s it. You have successfully downgraded to the earlier stable build and disabled auto-update as well. With this, the issue of the black triangle in the YouTube video thumbnail stands rectified as well. As far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are aware of this issue, but they haven’t given out any ETA for the rollout of a fix.
